The island’s biggest Latin dance group has joined forces with iStore to promote the Mambo and Mac to locals and tourists.

iStore will supply two Mac kiosks for public use at the opening night of BermudaSalsa.com’s Latin Entertainment Sizzling Summer Series.

People attending the event – at Bonefish in Dockyard on June 1 – can take pictures of themselves using the built-in cameras then upload them from the iStore weblink to BermudaSalsa.com or to social networking sites such as Facebook.

The Summer Series is organized by BermudaSalsa.com‘s production company, SalsaMania.

Exciting

All of their DJs use Macs and MacBook Pro to deliver music on the Latin Flavors Radio Show every Saturday from 7pm until 9pm on Magic 102.7.

Macs are also used at all SalsaMania’s Latin entertainment events, such as Bonefish Mondays and Thursdays, Grotto Bay Beach Mondays, Elbow Beach Veranda Bar Fridays and Rumbar Saturdays.

The exciting Summer Series is the product of an advanced strategic partnership between the Bermuda Salsa.com group and the Bermuda Department of Tourism, which supports the development of the Latin experience for the benefit of tourists.

Travis Gilbert, BermudaSalsa.com group general manager, said: “The BermudaSalsa.com group is pleased to welcome iStore into our family of strategic partners as the chief strategic partner of BermudaSalsa. com, our flagship website.

Synergy

“The management team of the iStore will be working very closely with our dynamic team to educate the public about the quality of the products and services on offer at the iStore.”

Richard Todd, iStore Bermuda president, added: “There’s a great synergy between our businesses with the music and media.

“We have taken the interactive approach to sales because customers want to experience a Mac or any of the Apple products before they make an investment, and we’ve developed a great strategy with BermudaSalsa.com group to make this experiential approach come to life.”
